Bythos (Depth or Abyss) – Sometimes considered the first Aeon or the Monad itself, representing the ineffable and unknowable source of all things.
- Barbelo – Often regarded as the first thought (or Pronoia) of the divine, Barbelo is one of the most significant Aeons and is seen as the mother of all creation.
- Sophia (Wisdom) – A critical Aeon who plays a central role in many Gnostic myths. She descends from the Pleroma and, through her actions, causes the creation of the material world.
Nous (Mind) – One of the primary Aeons representing divine intellect or thought. Sometimes referred to as the first emanation from the Monad.
Monogenes (Only-Begotten) – The unique or singular offspring of the Monad, representing the first divine emanation and a symbol of unity
Anthropos (Human) – Sometimes viewed as an Aeon representing the ideal, primordial human being, the archetype of humanity in its divine form.
Zoe (Life) – Often associated with eternal life or the divine essence of being.
Ecclesia (Church) – An Aeon representing the divine community or assembly of enlightened beings.
Ennoia (Thought) – Often associated with Barbelo, sometimes viewed as the first thought or the feminine aspect of the divine mind.
Aletheia (Truth) – An Aeon representing the concept of ultimate and divine truth.
